1. What Recipro is
Recipro is a web service that lets adults privately save up to three people they already know and see whether the choice is mutual. It is not a social network, does not show public profiles, does not search for strangers and does not access your address book.
Saving someone does not message them. A mutual connection appears only if both accounts selected each other’s number. Names appear only if both people agree to reveal themselves.
After a mutual connection the two accounts may propose a meeting (Event). Joining an Event is not the same as revealing names in the app.
2. Who may use the service
The service is for people aged 18 or over. By declaring that you are an adult at sign-in, you confirm that this is true. We do not check age against an identity document.
If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we will close it.
3. Account
You sign in with a phone number and an SMS code. You are responsible for the number you use and for who can receive that code.
You may delete your account in settings. What remains after deletion is described in the privacy notice.
4. Choices, numbers and conduct
You may enter only numbers of people you know, and only to use Recipro as described.
You may not:
- use Recipro to harass, threaten, stalk or coerce anyone
- enter random numbers, numbers of minors, or numbers solely to monitor or disturb other people
- try to discover still-hidden identities by bypassing the app
- create multiple accounts to evade the three-choice limit or a closure
- interfere with the operation or security of the service
Recipro does not notify the people you save. That does not allow you to contact them elsewhere as if the service had “confirmed” an interest.
5. Mutuals, reveal and Events
An anonymous mutual is not a revealed identity. A single “Reveal” stays private.
An Event is a proposal between two accounts. It is not a guaranteed meeting. Place and note are visible to the other person before names: do not include details you do not want to share. Before you go, check in the app that the Event is still confirmed. Recipro does not verify attendance, real-world identity or the safety of any meeting.
6. Availability
Recipro is an early service, provided “as is”. It may be interrupted, changed or withdrawn. Features such as optional mutual SMS alerts may stay off.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Alphabet Consulting EOOD is not liable for meetings between users, for identity inferences made by users, for how a user uses a number they entered, or for service interruptions.
Mandatory consumer rights of EU residents remain unaffected.
8. Privacy
Personal data is handled as described in the privacy notice on recipro.app. That notice is provided for information: it is not a clause that you “accept” as you accept these terms.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The version and date on the site apply. If a change is material, we will note it in the app or on the terms page.
10. Law and complaints
These terms are governed by Bulgarian law, without prejudice to mandatory rules of the country where a consumer lives.
